Our daughter Caitlin harvesting Pinot Noir

We are a small, family-owned and operated vineyard and winery in one of the grape-growing “sweet spots” of the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia River Gorge (now an official AVA), more specifically the Hood River Valley. This is where the cool but temperate climate of western Oregon meets the hot, arid climate of eastern Washington, right on the backbone of the Cascade mountains and along the banks of the Columbia River.

A perfect place to grow fruit, and a beautiful place to visit!

We are the oldest winery in the Gorge (established in 1981), and have over the years developed a broad selection of wines (see our list), including rich, flavorful, fruit-forward reds; refreshing, crisp whites; and delicious sweet ports and sherry. The Hood River Valley is world-famous for it’s tree fruit (notably pears, cherries and apples), so we also offer fruit wines.  Nearly all of our wines are estate-grown.

We would love to see you in our Tasting Room! Being “off the beaten path”, we have a nice quiet hillside for kids and dogs (on leash) to hang out, and picnic tables with views of the valley and Gorge for all to enjoy. Hikers, bikers and horse-back-riders are welcome too—we’re right off the Post Canyon trails!
